It's been almost three weeks since my last blog post which seems like forever ago, and something that has frustrated me so much because I've wanted to blog so much! I'm feeling so inspired when it comes to fashion at the moment because all the new Spring trends are coming into store and I've got so many ideas for outfits I want to shoot. However, my work schedule at the moment is very busy, and because I work different hours each week it's been really hard to find the time to blog. The past couple of weeks when I have had a spare day to do some outfit shots, the weather has not been on my side and it's either been rainy, windy or stormy which is highly annoying.

But today was finally a gorgeous Spring day, the skies were blue and I had the best day off strolling around my favourite parts of London in the sunshine. My style is forever evolving and recently I've been into more tailored looks which can be worn day-to-day casually but have a slightly smarter feel to them. Don't get me wrong, I'm all about being comfy and spend most of my spare time in jeans and t-shirts, but recently I have been wanting to mix it up a bit. This outfit is still really simple and affordable, but the more tailored trousers instantly make the outfit look more chic and put together, and the tie around the waist makes them really flattering on any shape. I'd wear these trousers during the day, for work and even a night out because they can be dressed up and down really easily. I'm also so happy that it's warm enough to wear lighter jackets now too, and a leather jacket is something that is a definite staple in my wardrobe.

But I have a little life update...I have a new job! One that has much more sociable working hours and is a job sector that I've been interested in for a while. The job I'm in now has such varied shift patterns that it makes it really hard to plan anything outside of work, and it's meant that I haven't been able to spend as much time with friends or family. I absolutely love living in London, and am so glad that I made the move here, however it can be quite lonely if you don't know that many people in the city. But hopefully my new job will allow me to see my friends much more often and also let me visit home at least once a month - happy days! I'm also so excited that I'll be finishing earlier because it means I can enjoy the Summer evenings.

As for my blog, I really want to get back into the swing of things. I feel really inspired, have lots of ideas and am really excited for the more Spring/Summer inspired photos. As I work full-time it is really hard to stick to a schedule, however with the new job that might become more possible and hopefully I can post at least once a week. Blogging is something that I love doing, and not having had the time to post anything recently has been really frustrating for me. But I'm back, I'm happy and the sunshine is hopefully here to stay!
