My wardrobe is mainly made up of black, white, beige and grey, and I'm usually the type of person to stay away from colour. I just tend to stick to more neutral shades as I find them easier to wear and style and find that everything goes with everything. However, today I wanted to share with you my new love for the colour pink.

At the end of last month I was lucky enough to be taken to one of my favourite cities ever, Paris. My amazing boyfriend surprised me with the trip after Christmas and I felt so so spoilt and grateful to be going. I've already uploaded a few pictures from the trip on my Instagram (@instyleofemily), but wanted to write a more detailed post on here about what we got up to. We made sure to plan out each day before the trip to make sure we made the most out of our 4 days there. I feel like we packed everything in that we wanted to do and more, so thought it might be useful to write a mini 4-day guide to Paris in case you're thinking of going.

I might be completely insane, but this April I'm running the London Marathon - the actual marathon! 26.2 miles long ahhh. I am a little bit terrified, but mostly excited and hopefully it will be one of the best experiences of my life. I'm running for NSPCC which is an amazing charity that I have always thought so highly of when it comes to the amazing work they do. I know that there are thousands of charities out there, and if I could run for more than one then I definitely would, but this one in particular is one that I've always supported. They are the leading children's charity in the UK fighting to end child abuse, and help children rebuild their lives and protect those at risk. Even though this probably the biggest challenge I've taken on, it's one that I'm most proud to be doing, especially if it means it'll help make a difference.
