NEW YEAR, NEW GOALS

I feel as though this year has been a mixture of bad and good for everyone, but as always I like to start each year with a fresh mind and new goals as it's always such a motivating time of year. I've got a very long list of goals for 2017, most of them are small and some of them are continuations from this year, but here are a few that I wanted to share with you.
What are your goals for 2017?

1) Start a blogging schedule and create more content:
As I currently work full time and have different shift patterns, it's hard to make sure that I am blogging regularly. Blogging is something that I absolutely love doing, and definitely want to make more time for it next year. I need to be more organised and plan blog posts in advance which hopefully means there will be more regular content.

2) Go to New York:
This is the one place that I definitely want to tick off my list next year. Me and my mum have always wanted to go to New York together for a proper girly city break away, and this year we are finally going to try and make it happen! Lots of shopping, site-seeing and food will be on the agenda.

3) Buy my first designer piece:
There are many items on my designer wish-list which come in the form of handbags and shoes, so this year I want to actually save up and buy my first designer handbag. I've got a few in mind that I'm thinking of buying, so I think it's time to stop buying unnecessary items that don't last very long, and invest in something luxury.

4) Run and complete the London Marathon:
If you don't know already, I've signed up to run the London Marathon for NSPCC! I'm so excited but also really nervous, and definitely need to up my training in January. The countdown is officially on! If you would like to donate towards my marathon with NSPCC then click the link here > justgiving.com/EmilyBacchus

5) Read more:
Every single year this is a resolution of mine and every year I never seem to complete it. I can't think of how many books I've started but never finished, so next year I'm going to make it my mission to finish some books and take some relaxation time away from social media to read more.

6) Be more productive with my spare time:
I spend a lot of my spare time faffing around. I don't even know what I'm doing half of the time but the time seems to go and I haven't achieved what I'd planned to do. So next year I'm really going to try and utilise my time better and be more organised. That way I will be more productive and therefore more motivated!

7) Continue to grow:
So the last 6 months has been where I've really got into blogging more and love doing it more and more everyday. My Instagram following has grown which I am so so happy/grateful about, but next year I want to focus more on other social media platforms such as Twitter and YouTube and continue to grow my blog. There's nothing more inspiring than seeing other people becoming successful and I think it's great to strive for that and fulfil your dreams.

Hope you all have an amazing New Year and that 2017 is everything you hope it will be. 2016 has definitely been a year for learning, growing and achieving for me, and I'm excited for the next chapter to arrive!
