Denim and dungarees are two of my favourite style choices and this dungaree denim dress is perfect piece for the hot Summer days. I just pair it with a plain white crop top underneath to keep it simple, and my white sliders sandals, and together it creates such an easy, relaxed and comfortable outfit. A dress like this is a staple in my wardrobe because it's so versatile and can be layered over different tops/jumpers depending on the weather.

Everybody wants to achieve that natural golden glow to their skin without looking greasy or overly shiny. I've got oily/combination skin which means that my skin tends to look a bit shiny anyway, however I still want to achieve a healthy glow to my face without adding more oil/excess shine. I've been on the search for something to add into my makeup routine to give my skin a golden glow, but a lot of the foundations/moisturisers I've tried are a bit too heavy or sticky for my skin type.

Then I came across this in Boots the other day...the L'Oreal True Match Highlight. I already own and love the True Match foundation from L'Oreal and so this caught my eye straight away. It's a liquid gold illuminator which you can add to your foundation or use as a primer to give you that natural added glow. I must admit when you swatch this on your hand it looks SO gold, which makes you worry what it's going to look like on your face, but honestly it looks amazing.

I mix a small amount of this in with my foundation or tinted moisturiser and it blends in so well on the skin to create a natural, even glow. It doesn't turn your face gold and shiny, but instead adds a radiance which I was definitely missing. You can also just add this straight onto the face as a primer or use it just on the high points of your face to enhance your highlight. It's a very versatile product and one that I'll definitely be taking on holiday with me to enhance that sun kissed look.

What are your recommendations to achieve that natural sun kissed glow?

As I've always can never have too many pretty white tops in your wardrobe. This one is so versatile and looks great dressed down with denim, or paired with tailored trousers or shorts for a more sophisticated look. It adds so much femininity to an outfit with the floaty cap sleeves but is also really classic with the high neck. Mixing different textures together in an outfit is something I love to do as it makes the whole look more interesting.

I've had these jeans for quite a while now but have never really got the wear out of them. I love the 'mom jean' trend and they look amazing on so many people, but I wasn't sure if I could pull them off. However, the other day I decided to customise them slightly and add rips at the knees so that they were a bit more textured and fitted in more with my own style. I'm also loving the 'Bardot' trend right now along with neck-ties, and I think they look so good paired together. Shoulders and collarbones are one of the most flattering parts to show off which is why I think so many people can pull off the 'off-the-shoulder' look.

Seeing as I've missed a couple of monthly favourite videos, I thought I would give you a quick run-down of my recent favourite beauty products. A lot of these favourites are products that I've had for a while but have fallen back in love with over Summer, but some are new to my collection...

Base Faves:
Chanel Healthy Glow Foundation:
I've done a full review on this foundation before so go and check out that post if you want more detail. But I've fallen back in love with this foundation recently as I think it's perfect for Summer. It's medium coverage which means that it's quite light on the skin and it doesn't look cakey, but it evens out the skin tone and gives a natural flawless look. It also doesn't make me extra oily throughout the day which I love during Summer seeing as my skin type is naturally quite oily anyway.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette:
I've talked about this a thousand times before but for a natural Summer makeup look, this is a staple. The bronzer shade (Dim Light) has a gorgeous shimmer running through it which gives a gorgeous warm glow to the skin even though it's a powder formula. I've also been using the shade Incandescent Light as a daytime highlight on the tops of my cheekbones as it's a beautiful, subtle shimmer and catches the light really naturally.

Eye Faves:
Bodyshop Honey Bronzer:
I know this product is a bronzer but during the Summer months I love to apply bronzer as an eyeshadow. It gives a lovely warmth to the eyes and this is perfect as a crease shade too because it's matte. Using this one product really makes a difference to the eyes and it's so quick and simple for a natural look. I mostly like doing this on holiday when I've got a bit more of a tan and it also makes it easier for travelling because you don't have to worry about taking eyeshadow palettes!

Lip Faves:

Mac 'Honey Love':
the newest nude to my collection. It's a matte formula but very comfortable on the lips, not drying at all. It's also great to layer over darker nudes in the centre of the lips to create an ombre effect!

NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams; Cannes and Milan:
Cannes is a lovely brown toned nude and Milan is a bright pink which is gorgeous for Summer! They're very creamy to apply, dry to a matte finish quickly and feel very comfortable to wear on the lips. However, they do need re-applying during the day as they tend to fade slightly, but I don't mind that!

Body Faves:
Bondi Sands Liquid Gold:
I'm not usually one for fake tan if I'm honest. But as I've got older I'm much more aware of sun damage and so I'd prefer to get a natural looking tan without damaging my skin by sunbathing! So I was recommended this tanning oil as it's meant to be the best....and it is! It's a dry oil which means it instantly soaks into the skin when it's applied and doesn't leave the skin feeling greasy. You don't have to wash it off which means is a great last minute tan if you're in a rush, and you can notice the different within an hour of applying! I just use a cheap tanning mitt and apply a thin layer all over my body in circular motions and it leaves no streaks and the best looking, even, natural tan! Winning.
