STRIPEY SUNDAYS

Absolutely in love with this jumpsuit. Wasn't sure how to style it at first as it's not usually something I would buy, but I think it works really well as a casual day-to-day piece, and it's so easy and comfortable to wear. Today I paired it with my Topshop sandals for an added pop of colour as the weather is so lovely and warm at the moment in England. But I'd also layer this over a plain t-shirt and throw on some trainers for a more relaxed look when the weather isn't so nice. I think it's really versatile for daytime or evening and looks very classic with the monochrome and pinstripe effect. Oh and did I also mention that it's currently in the sale??! Winning!

SUMMER DATE NIGHT

I bought this culotte jumpsuit a few months ago now, and I think it's such a versatile piece. I've now worn it to weddings, birthdays, lunches and dinners. It can be dressed up really nicely with a pair of heels and jewellery like I've done here, or dressed down with sandals and a chunky belt for a more relaxed day to day look. I'm starting to get more into tailored pieces like this as they are more flattering and makes it seem like you've put lots of effort in with styling, when actually it's only one item of clothing! Summer evenings with dinner out are my favourite.

WARM TONES

I don't usually wear warm tones that often as I tend to gravitate more towards grey, black and cooler shades, but I thought seeing as the weather is warm and it's a lovely sunny evening, why not replicate that in an outfit! White jeans are always a bit risky as they don't usually stay white for very long and I end up spilling something down me, but for an evening out or occasion I think they can look very sophisticated and elegant whilst still fitting in with the Summer season. I also paired this outfit with a contrasting clutch bag as I thought it looked a bit too matchy-matchy without some varying textures and prints. What do you think? Do you like the warmer tones?

SUN'S OUT

I finally had a day off when the sun was shining YAY! Had a lovely relaxing day in the garden and wore my new white denim shorts which are so comfortable. I've been looking for a pair like this for ages but most of the ones I've tried on were either too short at the back (nobody wants to see that) or too structured and stiff. These are the perfect fit (I did size up to get a more slouchy look), and I love the distressed rips at the front which add a bit of texture. Also how cool are these sunglasses?! They're from Coconut Lane (discount code below) and I love the rose gold mirrored lenses and the shape, they remind me a bit of the Dior sunglasses but slightly more oversized - perfect for holidays!
