You might have noticed that I've been a bit quiet recently on my social media outlets and also on my blog, so I thought it was time to give you an update. I haven't quit blogging, in fact it's the one thing that I want to do and focus on, but unfortunately at the moment I can't.

I've recently moved home from university after three years which means that I've had to unpack three years worth of stuff in my room and I still can't find anything I need and everything is basically everywhere! I've almost finished my degree (yippee) but am currently on my last placement. Most people graduate around this time of year which means that their Summer holiday starts now and they can enjoy themselves and finally relax after three long years of studying, but my degree is slightly different.

If you didn't already know, I'm doing a Nursing degree which means that alongside the usual essays and exams, we also have practical placements. I've finished all of the theory for my degree now, but two weeks ago I started my last placement in the Emergency Department which is 12 weeks long. The other placements have only been 8 weeks long which means that this is the longest one and unfortunately falls all across the Summer months. So that's why I haven't really had time to think about anything else recently! I've moved out of my university house back to my family home (as it's nearer to my placement and my student house lease runs out soon), and I'm also working full-time at the hospital doing different shifts which means that I don't really have a schedule and my body clock is all over the place!

It's been a really knackering few weeks, but now that I'm a bit more settled at home and the unpacking is finally ending, I can start to blog more on my days off! I can't wait to finish this placement and finally finish the degree because it means I can think about what I want to do next. Some of you may have read in a previous blog post that I have decided that nursing is not the career for me, and even though I'm finishing my degree, I won't be applying for a job within this sector. So that means, when I finish this placement in 10 weeks time, I'm finally FREE to think about me. I apologise for not posting a lot recently but as you can imagine, working shifts in A&E is very tiring, so the time off I get is mostly spent relaxing! But I have got some plans for my blog which will hopefully come into effect soon which will be exciting!

For now, I'll leave you with some photos from my recent Graduation Ball!

  1. Exercising and yoga are very important to keep in a good health. Also, you need to use good quality yoga accessories to do all this well and easily. Use good quality products to last long and to get the full benefit of exercising.
