One of my favourite things to do in London on a sunny day is to just stroll around, explore and take everything in. The city is always full of atmosphere whatever time of day it is, and it's great to walk between the different boroughs if you have a bit more spare time, instead of getting the tubes everywhere. There are so many hidden side streets with beautiful photogenic housing, especially in areas such as Kensington and Mayfair, that its hard not to take advantage of this and stop for some outfit shots!

This coat is from Zara a couple of years ago and I always love wearing it during Spring time because the colour is very fresh but not too bold. The cut is also very flattering and it's tailored perfectly to give you a more sophisticated and 'well put together' look. You don't really need to put much effort into whats underneath the coat which I love about it, because its definitely the statement and pulls everything together nicely.

I also decided to wear this floral blouse, paired with some plain black tailored trousers, because I felt like it was time to bring some more colour and pattern into my wardrobe. Throughout Winter I tend to stick to the plain colours because thats more my comfort zone, but when the sun starts shining and the weather warms up, it gives me the confidence and inspiration to add a bit more life into my style.
