MARCH FAVOURITES

Once again it's the end of another month! I've already posted my March Favourites video on YouTube which I've linked below for you to watch if you'd like a more chatty overview of my current favourites but if not then everything is also listed in this post! I haven't done much shopping over the past month which means there are only a few new products, but there are some old favourites which have crept back in from a while back.

Origins GinZing Moisturiser:
An oldie but a goodie! I've been using this moisturiser for a couple of years now as my Spring/Summer moisturiser and have recently been loving it again. It's really light in consistency, awakens the skin and really helps to brighten any dullness. It's all natural ingredients which is great for the skin and the smell is amazing which always a bonus!

Sanctuary Spa Reverse Beauty Sleep Mask:
I've been using this night mask once or twice a week after I've finished my night-time cleanse. It feels quite thick when you first apply it but don't let this put you off. I apply a thin layer all over my face and it sinks in really well leaving your skin feeling so so soft in the morning. It's also infused with lavender which is a lovely relaxing ingredient to add onto your skin before bedtime.

Maybelline 24 Hour Tattoo Eyeshadow (Pink Gold):
I've got quite a few of these eyeshadows now and really love the formulas, but have recently been reaching for this shade in particular. It's a gorgeous dusky pink with a hint of gold running through it which leaves a lovely sheen on the lid. I will either use this as an eyeshadow base before applying other similar colours on top, or just use this all over the lid as a wash of colour on it's own. It's really natural and perfect for Spring time to give a fresh, bright look.

L'Oreal Brow Artist Plumper:
I'm not someone that is overly into their brows and I don't usually spend that much time on them when doing my makeup. But recently I've been using this brow gel to try and tame them down a bit and hold them in place and it's honestly like super glue! It keeps my brows in place all day without feeling sticky or crispy like some brow products feel, and it's also got a slight colour tint to it. On the days when I'm feeling really lazy I will just use this product and it gives a natural look.

L'Oreal False Lash Sculpt Mascara:
I wasn't sure if I'd like this mascara at first because I'm usually quite picky when it comes to eyelashes, but I am really liking it so far! The wand is a bit strange and takes some getting used to, because the bristles are only on one side. However, the brush is really fine and allows you to get really close to the lash line which gives a lovely lift to the lashes. It adds a lot of length and fans out the lashes giving a fluttery look. This does have quite a thick formula though and so I usually wipe some of the product off the brush before applying so that it doesn't look clumpy.

Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick (Penelope Pink):
This is a gorgeous everyday nude lipstick which is really wearable and comfortable on the lips. It is very long lasting throughout the day and perfect for the Spring time. Also, can we just appreciate the packaging on her products..so pretty!

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder:
I know I'm a bit late on the bandwagon with this product but I've only recently picked it up. The powder is really fine which gives a natural finish to the skin and really sets my makeup well for the day. Usually with powders I find that I have to touch up quite a bit throughout the day on my t-zone especially, but this one keeps my makeup in place a lot longer. It's also a great powder for baking on those days where you want a really defined contour.

Topshop flats:
I'm loving all flat shoes at the moment really and its nice to finally get out of the heavier shoes and Winter boots. I love pointed toes on flat shoes because I feel as though it adds more style and sophistication to the outfit. My favourite ones this month are a black and white patterned pair from Topshop which are a 'slip on' style flat shoe. They really dress up an outfit and add a bit more texture with the pattern.

Twinnings Moroccan Mint Tea:
I am a big fan of tea and probably drink about 10 cups a day! But instead of going for my normal English Breakfast tea lately, I've been venturing out and having this one instead. It's not like a normal green tea because it has a hint of spearmint in it which gives more of a fresh flavour. It's also infused with cardamon which gives more of a spicy kick to it as well and I think this would also taste great as as iced tea!

I hope you've all had a lovely Easter weekend and consumed loads of chocolate like I did, and let me know what things you've been loving in March!
