SKINCARE GALORE!

Just a quick post from me today whilst I'm waiting for the Pimms jug to be re-filled - obviously a must-have on summer evenings! Earlier today I went shopping with my mum without the intention of buying anything for myself, and more the intention of finding her a wedding outfit. But of course, who am I kidding? I couldn't resist a few new purchases.

So, I thought I would just give you a little run through of what I bought (mostly skincare as I'm beyond obsessed with products).
First stop; Topshop obviously. There were a million and one things I wanted to buy as always but I only actually came out with one item (everyone breathe a sigh of relief for my bank account). I picked up these gorgeous flat shoes which were a bargain price of £18! I thought they were more of a 'smart flat' which is something I lacked in my shoe collection...honest. Being a really boring person and mostly sticking to a monochrome wardrobe, these were perfect for me and they will dress up a plain outfit whilst still looking effortlessly put-together.

Next up I went into SpaceNK, because naturally if there is a store in the same location as me then I have to go. Have to. Okay, I don't have to but who would miss the opportunity to go in there?!

I could have spent A LOT of money in there today, but I refrained, with the help of my mum's wisdom and sensible thought process; unlike mine (even though she also bought a few things in there - see, nobody can resist). I picked up two Keihl's products 1) the Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado £20 and 2) the Skin Rescuer hydrating moisturiser £29.50. I have heard great things about both products and love the brand as a whole anyway, so thought I would give these a go. If they appear in my next monthly favourites then you know they were a good'n.

Lastly, I went into Boots. This particular Boots is a big store and with it being Saturday, it was very busy! So I didn't actually spend too long in there, and only picked up two things, one of which is a re-purchase. The first thing is the Vichy Perfecting Toner £11 and I picked this up purely because the bottle looked pretty and because I've run out of toner. But I'll let you know what that's like as I know Vichy is a good brand and I've never tried anything from there before. Secondly, I re-purchased the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo+ which was £15.50. I love this stuff. I used to have a lot of dark marks on my skin after I had suffered from a breakout, and these marks could last for months without fading. But since using this, I have noticed that if I have a blemish, the mark will fade almost straight away after the inflammation has reduced. It has made my overall skin texture a lot more even - and this is my third tube now which is rare for me as I usually get bored with a product after a couple of months.

Okay, so that turned out to be quite a long post after all, but I just wanted to share with you all of my purchases of the day because I am so excited to try/wear them all! But now, I'm going to enjoy some Pimms in the sunshine yay! Hope you are all having a lovely Saturday evening enjoying this gorgeous weather.
